STEPS:
1. Spend some time looking through the photo gallery above.
2. Select an image from the gallery or find or create one you’d like to work with. For example, I’ll work with this photo:
3. List 5-10 things about what is pictured in the image.
Example:
Pictured: The sky above. The Stars. A million universes yet to be explored. An ever expanding thing. The result of a singular explosion,
of fire, of time, of millennia of changes, a thoughtful moment, a small self under an expansive sky.
4. Write 5-10 things about what is NOT pictured.
Example:
Not Pictured:
Everything that came before. The future. An ever expanding mind. A million thoughts burning bright. A million smiles yet to be
smiled. An unfathomable number of possible conversations, of moments not taken yet, steps, decisions to carry us forward into a universe of possibility.
Optional Step: Use an app such as Canva to overlay some or all of your text over your image. Alternatively, post the image with some or all of your writing. Think about using only what isn’t pictured, create line breaks or even expand upon your initial work.
